last wednesday, we had to send our car for 'shaken renewal' something like a certification of fit to be driven on the road...in japan shaken is a headache, cost of renewing our old car's shaken could buy us two boxes of noritake and disposing that car would cost us some 30,000 yen. hmmm, simple thought made us renew our shaken and we are at leasure to drive the car till april 2006...
that day we were given a mira to use while the petrol station did our shaken. anak-anak so hepi naik the 2-door mira, a bit cisai for me who like to travel heavy.

much a do about tulip

red tulips, purple tulips, yellow tulip..more tulips, a field of tulips..and people are 'photo-crazy' with tulips...went to bihoku park somewhere near shobara city to enjoy this...and maybe we will go to seranishi next weekend for more doses of tulips...might as well enjoy it while we are here. really like the color combination of tulips and flower beds...samples can be seen at the tulip boxes

the chicken pox mania

unexpectedly inas was down with chicken pox...our first reaction was..oh my! not now, not when we just started class..pening kepala fikir pasal classes dan sapa nak baby sit them...on second thot, nasib baik kelas baru start so we can use the 2-week window period for registration/confirmation of classes excuse to skip certain classes. for the next 2 weeks we cannot send both inas & izz to nursery, japanese being overly sensitif pasal contagious disease, so we take turn baby sitting them and attend classes. 3 days later as expected izz was down with it...better we just have to deal with this chicken pox one shot.
it seems that this chicken pox spreaded to meji's children, saiful and also alif's children (not sure if his nweborn got it..) and we have to be in for quite some time...

our house (aparto type) since october 1 2003, karuche nakamoto 103, saijo-chuo 2-12-26, higashi hiroshima-shi, 739-0025 japan. this aparto is on the hilly side, saijo is a bonchi area(kawasan di keliling bukit/gunung), giving us cool air (very cold indeed especially in winter) and good thing is our house atatakai (nice temperature) in spring and hot summer. also parking is abundance...guests can park at the taman, sekolah or in the parking lot...sebenarnya aparto ni not fully occupied, nasib baik kalau tidak jenuh kami kena komplen dengan jepun sebab anak-anak kami terkenal dengan 'keaktifan melampau' dan suka buat bising.

a whole new world...
|
|
today we brought inas and izz went to gyohoku private nursery, nearest to hirodai and most important city hall bagi subsidi for yuran, for registration and orientation. during the visit they just want to play outside, they looked happy especially inas who worry us most. iman also want to come here, but we told iman that she need to attend yochien which she has been attending since last october because yochien is rather formal than this nursery. the list of barang untuk dibawa endless i.e handkerchief, oshibori, towel, bath towel, baju, kasut rumah, napkin untuk izz, bekal makan dan juga ofuton for napping...oh oh mau habis 20000 yen beli bebarang ni, japanese memang details. discussion dengan sensei macam citer mind your language...boleh gelak besar orang jepun dengar. yang kami stresskan "kodomo kotoba wakaranai" aka anak-anak kami tak faham word jepun langsung.
this nursery is going to be a whole new world for both inas & izz...they are to be cared by total japanese in japanese environment and cultures...as parents we can only hope that some good things are to be learned. from now on the whole family is learning.
