prune & plum picking

|
summer is almost here, the day starts early and at 6 am our eyes are wide open, day temperature is over 30 deg C, we are in an oven. we have no air-cond...so every opportunity to be out of the house is most welcome. meji invited us to go for plum & prune picking, asri contemplating the idea that prunes & plums are 'sour fruits' , kita kenalah buat segala yg orang jepun buat (tengok bunga, petik buah, mandi laut, bbq dan pegi flea market ) kalau tidak boringlah hidup di jepun ni, nasib baik ada empat musim adding colors to life here.
the prune & plum farms in one section is up-hill, the entry ticket is 1,000 yen/person...are we going to eat plum & prunes that much, wah boleh pecah perut...no lah we just want to have the experience.

time flies...today inas is 4, could hardly believe that she is growing, wasn't she 3 just yesterday. we are happy that at 4 she has accomplished more than we expected of her. she likes school, she begins communicating and expressing herself. she adores her big sister iman so much that iman becomes her idol. her give and take attitude is amazing especially with her little sister izz.. 
Happy 4th Birthday...we love you Inas-chan

yukata matsuri

another yearly event in hiroshima university...the yukata matsuri, i don't know much about this matsuri but my guess is that it is the time when everyone wears yukata (for those who want to of course) and the students open bazaars to sell foods, things and have games and concert. this year the matsuri was on 27th June ... bad timing as that week was a rainy week. we just snapped a few shots of yukata wearers...could have been a nice matsuri if the weather is good.

we have 11 members in lab 803, Yang-san (China), Sergei (Russia), Dedi-san, Solikin-san & Ronny-san (Indonesia), Jerry-san (Phillipine), Phet-san(Laos), Thway-san & Tin-san(Myammar) and me & Meji-san. Asri is permanent quest to this lab.

we were not allowed to take photo in the assembly line which is quite awesome...one single line produces 6 different models of different colors as well.
