and the adventures begin...we arrived nagasaki at sunset...ha..ha.. and we are in the heart of nagasaki city, all parks were brightly lit by colourful lights and situated along the nagasaki sea and were of course tourist spots...how could we camp there. we stopped at the seaside park where the big luxury liners docked, the green lawn was beautifully lit and it looked so pretty...i felt i was in istanbul (according to meji) or venice. we knew that the park won't look as pretty in daytime so we stayed a bit longer and enjoyed the scenery.
by 10pm...we were still in our cars without a place to camp...by 11pm..we decided to stop searching and went to seek help form pak koban. after much huha..pak koban bukannya ada kerja so dapat satu job isogazi sakan le...then we were escorted by 2 police car to the nearest camping site...tired and exhausted, bapak-bapak put up the tents and mothers did some simple cooking...kami sangap kelaparan.

kenangan manis satu perjalanan indah,
dari hiroshima ke shimonoseki,
singgah bermalam di kitak-kyusu,
cantiknya laluan menyusuri bukit iizuka,
bertemu berkelah di tepian pantai fukuoka,
riang bergambar di sekitar hawk town,
di hard rock cafe dengan gitar dan kereta pink,
di sinilah ada dome tempat fukuoka daie bermain.
malam menjelang teruskan perjalanan,
tersesat di nagasaki indahnya bandar,
menyusuri waterfront berkilau-kilaun,
melihat kapal besar singgah berlabuh,
terasa berada di turkey, venice atau amsterdam?
malam kian larut..kita akan bermalam di mana?
ditemani pak koban kita terpaksa,
kerna dalam lelah dan penat...diri terasa tenat,
namun baiknya pak koban membantu tetap diingat,
ayuh..dirikan rumah-rumah kita segera,
kita tak punya masa...ini sudah jam dua belas,
memasak sekadarnya sesama kita,
malam tidur tak lena dibuai angin kuat,
deruan ombak terasa amat kuat,
bangun terjaga menguatkan pahat,
bila terjaga sama terkejut,
laa...cantiknya tapak perkhemahan kita ini,
di belakang tasik besar,
di depan laut terbentang,
satu pemandangan yang indah...
sayang tak lama untuk dinikmati,
kerna kita ingin melawat nagasaki,
bandar bersejarah ini...

undokai was on 18 August 2004, held in the compound of the nursery. it was our first undokai and it was sooo much fun...it was not about winning (though some did cried when they lost), it was about participation... from mothers, fathers, brothers-sisters and also grandparents. we watched how sporting japanese can be...

we missed the bloom of sunflowers...asyik pegi picnic je...and after that bad typhoon. luckily the lovely lavenders were not hit

summer vacation ended...so many things we did in the summer...and now back to real life in idec...have to reflect back memories of spring semester.

a short view on cosmos
|
|
|
originally we plan to see the flower of autumn ie the cosmos but we sort of stranded at the big play-lawn. with less than 15 minit before closing time we rushed to the flower square to snap some photos with the cosmos...the park is soo big cannot be covered in a day.
