Terasa pendek perjalanan masa berdetik mulai 8.05am Selasa 28hb Jun 2000 ke hari ini Selasa 28hb June 2005. Si manja Inas sudah 5 tahun, rambut panjang adalah trademark Inas, setiap masa terluang tak jemu dia membelai rambutnya.

Omedeto...ichi nensei ni nattara

Today Iman mula masuk Ichi Nensei di Gota Shogakko, 3 km dari kaikan dan mengambil masa 45 min berjalan kaki.
The opening ceremony was quite formal, budak ichi nensei memang diraikan habis-habisan, sebab itulah masuk ichi nensei adalah antara peristiwa penting bagi masyarakat Jepun.

hoikyuen started the new sesssion of 2005, inas will move to red class and our baby izz will advance from "baby group" to real kindergarten in her new yellow class (how she will cope in that class makes me wonder..) ayah was still tired from our pindah rumah semalam so only mommy & iman accompanied inas & izz. actually it was our first time since we missed the last year new session. the kids joined in may and new session started in april.
all parents were formally dressed...and mommy shed a tear when inas and izz made their appearances and being introduced. izz being shy did not bow or utter the usual "hai"...her midori sensei (yamasaki sensei got to her and made her stand up...ooh yes she only listened to her yamasaki sensei..)
we had meeting which I didn't understand a word..bla..bla....and it was over by 11 am.

Bye..bye "Karuche Nakamoto" - "Kaikan" here we come

after 18 months in the haven of Karuche Nakamoto, sebuah mansion lama di atas bukit di tengah pekan Saijo...maka tibalah masanya kami berpindah ke kaikan or International House, rumah yg diimpikan student di Hiroshima University, kaikan ni sewanya murah dan dekat sekolah...being fully furnished meaning we can disposed our large furnitures (takle headache nak buang barang nak balik nanti)...but what we like most is the environment yg nampak homely and also not so quite like Karuche Nakamoto. kat kaikan ni selalu aje busy dgn student/families...so rasa best aje.

hari ni keluarga Meji/Anom and keluarga Lak Lah/Abg Mat akan bertolak ke Tokyo dan seterusnya balik ke Malaysia. ikut perancangan asal mereka nak bertolak pukul 12 tgh tapi disebabkan masalah trafik di rumah meji maka tertundalah hingga pukul 4.30 pm dan mereka naik shinkanshen pukul 5 pm...macam-macam cerita lucu, sedih dan pelbagai yang tak tertulis. rumah kami dijadikan tempat persinggahan kawan-kawan yang ingin mengucapkan selamat jalan...sambil menunngu sambil makan apa yang ada dah macam kenduri pulak, sori la sebab tak buat persiapan kalau tidak boleh jugak buat rendang 2,3 ekor ayam..he..he... tapi kami seronok berkumpul meraikan mereka yang akan balik for good.
Selamat Jalan....setahun dari sekarang giliran kami pula.

Hoikyuen Graduation
|
|
Iman will graduate and we were all excited about it. Iman was dressed in her new suit, Inas & Izz watched with envy eventhough they were also dressed in new gowns...si Izz menangis nak baju kakak sepanjang jalan...
The graduation was very formal, unfortunately Izz & Inas couldn't sit still like other Japanese kids...ayah had to bring them out as they were making noises in the hall...when ayah went out ayah couldn't video-taping the event..hmmm alahai. Nasib baik sempat ambik gambar.
After the scroll-giving ceremony, students & sensei did some performances...while we parents & kids had lunch...overall it was a memorable event, and because Iman is our first we were quite touched by it

Farewell Dinner - Kak Lah/Abg. Mat & Meji/Anum
|
|
Kak Lah/Abg. Mat & Meji/Anum dan keluarga akan pulang ke Malaysia for good this March, 2005. Many fun and happy memories were shared with them...our camping and picnic activities...we are going to miss their beautiful friendship...our daughters will miss their play mates. We hope this friendship will continue and we will meet again in Malaysia in 2006.
Hanya sempat menghidangkan nasi ayam sebab seharian kami berkampung di Saijo Plaza yg mengadakan jualan habiskan stok...Kak Lah & Meji memang borong sakan. Barangan baru yang dijual pada harga super diskaun...takpe kami ada peluang lagi tahun depan.

The farewell party was jointly organized and sponsored by Kinbara sensei, Komatsu sensei together with Kaneko sensei. As for the food, we had the Myanmar Coconut Noodles, Malaysia Chicken Rice, sandwiches and salad. We went shooping together and I explaines to them about halal food and brought to the halal shops...Fuji-san and Peera-san then understood that halal means everything not only chicken and meats but also salad dressing, tit bits etc. Peera said next year he can cook Thai dish because he now know where to get the halal ingredients.
We gave Congratulatory Notes (signed by all) to those who will graduate this March, played bingo game and we finished the party with cake cutting ceremony...Japanese style

Class Observation

we have to send the children by 8.30am, class observation started at 9am...and it was fun eventhough ayah had to run around shooting the activities (our children were in 3 different classes), mommy missed inas and iman activities. after the class observation parents were entertained by a Mongolian performance
